taking ptex off

anyone know a fast way to take the base off of skis? I want it right down to the metal. It's for skocking.

trust me, the '' things aren't actually there
 
hhmm...this is a new one...

well, i would suggest trying to start at the tip and start peeling the base up.

You're gonna lose all stability in the edges though, they will probably come off if you pull on them a little bit.

dude good luck, one idea would prob be to get like a belt grinder, like the type used to grind skis or for construction or maybe a power sander and just press done hard untill you hit corre, otherwise i say just have your friend drag you behind his car, that will kill the ptex quick for sure

if you slice open the base with an exacto knife, it will usually be easy enough to peel off, but the edges will probably come off too. if you just want ptex go to KUU or TOKO and you can buy huge pieces of it for cheap.

this is the easiest way I have found to get the base off a ski, I am a ski tech.
