Taking care of park skis

sup dudes

My whole life I've been a racing skier and I got bored of it ( was more interested on hitting small jumps rather than doing training) so I decided to switch from my racing skis and get a pair of arv 96s. I heard that I must detune the part that is under the boot so I dont get edge cracks, what else should I do and how sharp should my edges be? Also how often do you wax your bases?

If there is anything helpfull advice for a new park skier (even tho im expert at skiing on piste) comment it down below

thanks in advice

The best way I've found to de-tune a pair of skis is to rip them all mountain for a few days before hitting the park. Being a racer, you should be pretty good at that. Then take a gummy stone to the edges underfoot.
