False. In recent human history (since the inception of the United States), the only times the U.S. has used force that could at least be justified is WWI & WWII, though I still personally don't find it justified.
I'm a pacifist and am old/educated enough to have reasonably come to that perspective on life. Look at the great changes people like MLK Jr., and Ghandi made without dropping a finger on another human being. Get your face out of your ass, the world's fucked up because people think force is a necessary means to accomplish goals.
