So i have plan going to Taivalkoski in march. Is there a park or something?And whatabout the snow conditions?

Is there a homepage or a live webcam?

personally I never been there, but according to the website there is some kind of park and 6 slopes.

Snow condition is pretty good, although the park isn't open.

Ohh just looked at google maps.

Iso-syöte is just 36km away from Taivalkoski and Iso-syöte has nice and good park. http://www.syote.fi/en/slopes/iso-syote/slope+info/

And then there is Ruka which is 86km away from Taivalkoski, but Ruka is really worth it. It has one of the best parks in finland. http://www.ruka.fi/winter_eng/

thanks for the information..Ruka has the quality, I know, but the trip is part of my university study, so I cant choose destination.
