Tailors Bunion in a Ski Boot?

Alright, so any other skiers ever have a bunion or a tailors bunion on their foot? Tailors bunions are these bumps of bone that form when your pinky toe points inwards and when the bump rubs against shit it gets real irritated. I have them on both feet right now and can't really ski because they kill even just wearing shoes.

Any one every have these or gotten the surgery to fix them? And if you got the surgery was it worth it?

Sorry, I don't really have an answer for you but I also have a question.

I have been getting some weird bone bump under my ankle bone and it hurts like a motherfucker to ski (but I have been doing it anyway), what is it and how do I make it go away?

this.
I have to get my boots severely punched because the bunionettes got pretty bad. Way back in the day I didn't get my boots punched and those fuckers got so inflamed I was popping pills like an addict. If I skied pipe... game over: I couldn't even walk later that evening. Now they don't bother me, except on very rare occasions.

It sucks, the last few times I have been skiing I get back and can barely walk. I could get my boots punched there but it seems like this is a symptom of some other problem. So if I get them punched more my stupid new foot bone will just continue to get worse and worse.

then get them punched more, only way to make your boot fit if you have a bunion is to punch them until there's room for it

my bunionettes got pretty big and they would hurt so bad. I think I endured it for about 2 seasons before I had to do something about it. Like I said, there were evenings I couldn't walk. Usually when I took off my ski boots, it felt like my bones in my feet exploded it hurt so bad. I had to get my boots massively punched (it looks like a small pod sticking out of the side of each boot), and it worked. I think the first time I committed to punching my boots I had to go to my shop three times because it just wasn't big enough.Wearing wide ass shoes helped as well. Doesn't take much pressure from even a shoe to cause pain. Take a few steps and you can easily avoid surgery (which I have heard mixed/sketchy things about)

I've been dealing with one since last season. got my boots punched this season at surefoot in whistler, but I need more room for it still. also going to a podiatrist in a couple weeks, but based on google, they're just going to tell me its a tailor's bunion... but I'll pay them $200 for the consultation. sick.
