I thought he was an AK rider

There are so many good riders in Tahoe I think it's impossible to say. On another note... I didn't know it was possible to land switch on telemark skis. Looks difficult

ty is a fuckin G dude. he cork 9's and lands fakie sooo steezy on teles. dangerous.

he also nosepresses shit on teles. go figure.

def. not the best in thaoe, but he's good...id say best in tahoe at jumps and def. halfpipe is david wise....kid fuckin slays w/ doubles and swith doubles ....and at jibs idk there's a shit load of good kids that can slay rails and wut not

Sugar, Zack Steele, Dylan Curry, Sean Hartel, JJ Schiller, Jason Arens, Jamie Melton, list goes on... hahah.
best snowboarder, by far Christian Mares. Watch out for that guy if any of you knwo snowboarders.
Ha a side note is that craig guy on moments in that video impressed me in the pipe one day at Sierra.

I was gonna say CR or Shane. JT Holmes still kills it. I see Jonny out there every now and then. Sean Field used to ski Tahoe alot. IDK. tahoe has so many ski hills and so many everyday diehards who no one talks about.

fo sho, did you see his new double?!

i think he did it the day i saw you

not sure if you were still there tho

it was later in the day

i've always thought that tele park riders should make tele turns into jumps, you know like carve a sick tele turn into your pop -- that would look sick... otherwise, what's the point of riding tele skis in the park?

Especially doing nose presses. Isn't the tension on the bindings so high that they basically hold your heel in like alpine bindings? And did I see no pole teleing? That looks especially pointless.

Dude Ingrid Backstrom is a Crystal rider haha, that's who she's sponsored by as a mountain at least. I've seen her rip around Crystal a couple times, too.

def possible...easy in the park. however, landing switch in pow on teles (deep pow that is) is very tricky, but has been done.

she lives in squaw.

Ty is sick but there are too man other sick riders.

Maybe someone should do a Tahoe Open to really find out.

i have heard rumors of a Tahoe open happening this season at Boreal,

but if it acctually happens, i will be suprised if Boreal can't find a way to mess it up

the telemarkers tension bar was so high he couldn't make a real tele turn. So I'd put him on alpine bindings and he's just an average park skiier from tahoe.

hmm well theres kyle smaine, jason arens, dylan curry, sugar and zach, tyler homen, andy mcdowell, sean hartel, jamie melton and that 14 year old kid who does those hexos...

I don't think there really is a "Best Rider" in tahoe

I definatly think Squaw would be the best place for it, but maybee if it acctually happens and is at boreal, maybee just maybee they wont mess up

tahoe has so many sick riders. I spent most of the winter there when I wasn't competing.

Guys I rode with the most and that really stood out were David Wise, Sean Hartel, Jordan Sphor, Dylan Curry, Billy Mann

I saw tons of other sick riders though that I never got to meet

Yeah if they make the jumps so that I don't overshoot their everytime and screw myself up I will make the trek back home to CA to enter for sure.

I dont care if they are pro or am , free heal or not, the best rider in Tahoe is Sean Fields,
and yea there are about 30 dudes at Alpine and Squaw who slay it, and dont talk shit so youll never know who they are, they dont do promos they just ride,
next time your at Squaw just look around at all the bomb holes from dudes just huckin off massive cliffs.

he speaks the truth...there r so many good skierrs in tahoe who don't really film and don't bother wasting their time on NS.....just look around

best part about this thread, is i can tell who spends most of their time on north shore and who spends it on the south shore, haha.
Tahoe kids slay hard for sure. Oh that Matt Nelson kid slays too.

there's a shit ton of talent in tahoe. I know T-Hoe is the ultimate human at skiing.... but that extends beyond tahoe and into life in general as well.
