Ive never met her or anything but i think it would b cool if we could get her some movies posters and other newskool stuff so she has something to do in the hospital recovering. If u have a hookup to a company, help run a company, or are willing to donate some stuff 4 her i think that would b cool. Some1 that knows her real well post ur mailing address so we can send her the stuff... pce and get beter soon grl

The thought is definately awesome, but I mean, realistically speaking... what makes her so special that everyone on NS should chip in to buy her stuff. I mean, I have friends that have gotten fucked up before and we buy them recovery stuff and whatnot, but we dont need to post it on NS. Some things should be kept personal, you know? Sure, she might be the coolest chick ever, but if she's your friend, you do something to support her, I don't see why everyone needs to get involved.

What makes her special? well, she's been a member who was very involved, and known by a LOT of people. She IS a moderator, and as I said, a friend to many. I have never met her, but I know her through this site. SHe is a big part of this site, and I think it's a good idea to have people send her things *IF THEY SO CHOOSE*. no one is saying you have too, but for those of us who knew her, the option is there.

In case you didn't read all of the comments in this thread (which wouldn't surprise me, seeing your ignorance level), Court's been a huge contributor to the site for years, she's a mod, she's actually met many people from the site through camps and just skiing all over, and basically anyone who's been around here for more than a year knows who she is and at least respects her as a skier and an awesome person.

There are numerous people on here who care about what happens to others (especially those like Court) and want to help in some way but would have no idea if the original thread of her accident hadn't happened. This is proven by the fact that the person whose idea it was to start a thread about getting some kind of gift for Courtney has never even met, or probably even talked to her before. There ARE people who have half a heart and who care about others. Like I've said before, just because you're being a heartless bitch doesn't mean to you have prove as much in the thread and bring up threads that have been dormant for a week just to make some sort of snide bitch remark.

Just because Courtney called you out on your bull shit before doesn't justify any of the crap you've said to or about her since the accident. You're always talking about living each day to its fullest and loving life while you can and blah blah because of your medical condition, but then you go and say shit like that to people who get injured and tell fellow skiers to 'pop a knee' and shit.
