I might be taking a vacation there this winter, how is it? What are the best places to go?

good parks? When is best chance for good snow?

Tahoe is all I know its it great!

'Shampoo is beta!'

'NO! Conditioner is beta!'

'I go on first and clean the hair!'

'I leave the hair feeling smooth and silky!'

'O really fool?!'

'O really?!'

.....'STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAAAAN!!!!'

the best resort for powder is kirkwood hands down. smallest crowds, and best steeps and bowls, it's not at tahoe, but still damn good. of course squaw valley is classic, but it gets crammed with tourists, stay away from heavenly, it blows, along with northstar, boreal and a few more i can't think of. Alpine meadows is also really good, there's a lot of good steeps within hiking distance. hell, if you're gonna be in kirkwood let me or SVHucker know, we both have passes there for next year. oh yeah, for parks squaw has the best, alpine has a small one with a good pipe and kirkwood's needs a lot of work, but i go there for the snow and terrain.

Kirkwood has the most snow out of them all (and some say... the most in america). One of the better places for park too.

Squaw has a pretty decent park and a sick superpipe. The smaller pipe and park has night lights too.

Heavenly is an intermediates field, and the park there is alright (no inverts). It isn't used much so the quality stays alright. Slow lift though.

And expect to meet heaps of New Zealanders and Aussies if you goto Squaw or Heavenly, they employ lots of us.

What gravity?

go north shore if you can - only thing worth skiing south shore is kirkwood and it's an hour or so away. north shore you got all you need in squaw and alpine. and sugar bowl is gonna have a 22 foot super duper pipe this year so that should be worth checking out. can't go wrong with those 3.

i like alpine because there is no crowds like at squaw

ski alpine on weekend squaw and kirkwood durring the week

kirkwood gets the most snow.

heavenly blows.

I think what you ment to say was go to sugar bowl and that the train gap is right near Donner lake not Tahoe. As to the question as about where to ride in tahoe, ride the back country for the powder and drops ( although kirkwood does take care of those most of the time). Squaw I would have to say has the most consistent park, but a couple of days last year kirwood had so 70' tables up.

'No matter how hot she is, someone some where is sick of her shit'

I'll be staying on the north shore so probably sqwaw, alpine and maybe a drive to kirkwood. Whens the best time to go? I'm thinking maybe late january early february?
