I am going out to Tahoe for two days in feb and i am wondering where to ski. I want to do one day park and one day skiing/pow

park shouldn't be a problem, there is some enormous stuff at squaw. however about that pow...you just hope it snows. tahoe can go for some nasty stretches without snow.

you are lucky i got to go there for xmas and it was sweet! go to alpine meadows or squaw for park, maybe northstar, kirkwood for a super park and for powder(if it snows)

The only bummer is that it has been dry here for nearly two weeks. Also, if you are looking for park and heading towards Kirkwood, make sure that there Superpark is up. As of last Sun. they had not even started shaping it, so I am not sure what is going on there.

Just never go to alpine, it sucks there. The park sucks and its horrible when theres powder and the backcountry is terrible.

Hey bigskygurl how many times have you been to heavenly? Im not gonna say i like the place but it is for sure not total shit. If people like big open runs then its the place for them. not to mention it has the best views of any resort in tahoe except maybe homewood. dont ever say ghost doesnt know what hes talking about, the guy practically is tahoe.

I thought heavenly had very good tree skiing when I was there last year :/. I got to Squaw on a shitty day, everything was skied off. Kirkwood is awesome though.
