Tahoe skiing

I'm planning a tahoe trip...anybody have opinions on the relative merits of Alpine Meadows, Sierra, and Northstar, in terms of overall mountain

Go with alpine-definitely the best for whatever you want to do...excellent park and excellent mountain.

Alpine's my choice. If you have money check out Squaw. If you have time and money check out Mammoth. But that's not really Tahoe.

alpine on the weekends and northstar on weekdays if you dont mind some crowds. avoid nstar on the weekends.

Squaw is now my favorite, the sun is on it all day , not to many huge shady spots "the park" there jump is way legit ( only have one unfortunatly) its like spring skiing the gnar right now. And the music at gold coast and the gapers top it off, one pieces in 50 degree weather is magic.

^^Squaw is my personal favorite-but Alpine is cheaper with good terrain as well. Besides, this guy used to give me shit about liking squaw until he saw the light.
