Tahoe housing/jobs

Sorry to post this here but regionals gets no traffic... i just flew out to tahoe and have very little time to find a job and reasonably priced housing before im selling my body on the street, and jobs have been hard to find due to the lack of snow

so if anyone has any tips, or even better, a room they want to rent out, let me know please! i bought a pass to squaw so would prefer to be somewhere close ish but beggars can't be choosers so hit me up if you have any help at all.

Why are you moving to a place with zero natural snow, and a massive shortage of low paying jobs, at the moment?
 
because i finalized the plans a while ago, that is, a plane ticket and my season pass to squaw/alpine, and had a non low paying job all but lined up that fell through. it's too late to back out now.. believe me, im not stoked on the situation but the only thing i can do now is make it work or just fly out and eat hundreds of dollars

i have a pretty good resume for my age but im looking for anything now

 
just keep bugging every business in town, eventually someone will give you a job. Try a supermarket or fast food spot
 
ever think about reno? it wouldnt be bad till you can find a place in tahoe and i bet you could get a job pretty easy in reno. also ive been seeing a lot of adds on craigslist about snowremovel in the tahoe are but we dont have snow right now hah.
