Tahoe getting dumped on?

I'm heading to South Lake on Jan 2 for 10 days. I'll be skiing Heavenly mostly, but prob some KW too. If this storm lives up to expectation and they get a few more small storms between now and then, will the good stuff start to be open? When will they start building high roller?

right now we only have one park at heavenly, it's all jibs, no jumps, and it's on the nevada side. no park on the california side. i keep hearing that there is going to be a jump line, but it hasn't happened yet. this storm tonight is supposed to bring around 12 in. over 7000 ft. so hopefully that will help. it's been a slow start this year.

I was at Kirkwood today and it was snowing and they are also almost finished with a couple of 30ft jumps possibly bigger.

I was just looking at the mammoth website and check the wheather. I looked at the dweeb report and it said that Tahoe was supposed to get over a foot and mammoth half that.

all the snow heavenly has is man made , it rained in and above the valley where i am and i havent been up to the hill since but by jan there will be a real park.
