YEAAAHHHH. That was a good edit. I never made it up to Tahoe this year, but it looked EMPTY up there (crowd wise). Looks like you guys had fun though. Squaw is my favorite park up in Tahoe, such a nice setup, and sweet jump lines.
yeah it sucked we were so stoked to ride there, and bam we couldnt see 1 foot in front of our faces. we ended up doing a half day at june which was ok. there park wasnt to great. the super park loooked incedible tho.
Sounded like June had a killer park earlier this year. I think Mammoth closes that place up early to save money though. So probably after mid February they wouldn't be dumping much money into a nice park there. That's such a bummer about Mammoth though. Sorry to hear that. It's a way better Squaw IMO (park wise). If you had good weather you would have loved it.
first few days were bluebird, the last day we were there squaw got had like 3 feet on the expert chair runs all the way to the skier right when you get off the gondola, it was fun to actually get to ski some pow since we get shit in wisconsin. yeah june was closing like the next day or something. Â
haha. Yeah dude. That's 3 feet in Squaw. If there's one place in Cali I could choose to be at during a pow day, it would be Squaw. Squaw has some sick sick terrain. I would be at the KT22 chair by 6:00 in the morning waiting in line just to ski the fingers. Looks so sick. When I can drive, I will definitely head up there before a storm and when I 80 closes and no one can get there. I will be skiing fresh all day.
