does anyone know when the ski areas around Tahoe close for the year. cuz i could get in trouble if they are closing before like april 20th

by april 20th, the following resorts will be closed, and everything else will be open...
-Mt Rose
-Northstar
-Sierra At Tahoe

They close because their lease with the national forest service is contracted that they close the second or third sunday of April.
Theres enough snow for squaw, alpine, boreal, kwood, and heavenly to all be open with good snow and sick parks well into may.
Hope that helps man.

dont trip dude, alpine will be open theres a good amount of snow. as for the park being open... you might want to send a letter to management explaining to them that you travelled alll the way from the east coast to ride alpines park during the spring. that would be rad, they need that support. peace

Mammoth (2 hrs south) will be open past memorial day no problem. Most tahoe places should have plenty of snow.

The best deal for you park wise would be Squaw. Buy a spring pass and get some good spring skiing in. They always have a park setup and the pool has its moments. Boreal closes the 13 along with a lot of others following close by, so that will leave you with alpine, squaw, mammoth, or take the trip to Bachelor. You could try to ride backcountry and go build something out on Donner Summit, easy hiking. -Good luck with the trip

damn, may 23rd.....thats siiiiick

i got email from heavenly saying they'd be open up until about may 9th or 4th or something
