Tahoe Camping

I think Im driving to Tahoe (Northstar and Sierra) sometime soon and was wondering if there are overnight lots at either hill or camping grounds near by open during the winter? Or anything else like that? Thanks.

i could be wrong but i think all the campgrounds close for the winter. i would just sleep in my car

sleep in your car at the hill... no camping near by but In you could reno or carson once the snow melts down there in a week or two.

and i do plan on camping out in my car, i just wanted to know if there were any good spots.

and as for reno and carson city...i think id rather sleep in a mass grave, it would be cleaner.

You got to love the smell of carson...nothing the aroma of a outhouse!
