I think it would be cool to have a big air tournament on a tabletop. It would haveto be 40+ feet at least so we could never have one down here...

Basically, most of big air hits are table top....

the kicker flt and then the landing.... look like a table top to me.

haha, quebec, u just reminded me of the US Open, when tanner went against peter merhof(peter fell doing tanners 'money trick'), tanner didnt clear the jump!, thought it was funny, and in the interview at the end of the comp, he starts laughing randomly, it was hilarious

no, i mean flat table tops. The big air jumps usually have a big kicker on them.

ya the point of a big air is to have 'big air' so an elevated kicker on a table is necessary, unless u want a small air, on a normal table.

Flat table tops and table tops with kickers aren't that different, but the ones with kickers give you more air, so they're better for big air competitions. Otherwise the slopes of the take off and the landing are pretty much the same for both types of jumps.

That is true.

We have crappy table tops here, they seem to always have the take off and the landing at angles so you think you're straight and then you fly off the side, it sux

flat tables are just good for learning new tricks because it hurts a lot less when you fall because you get nearly the same amount of air but alot less height.

Hey Appskier,

WHere were you when we had the 60 footer at app.? Whats all this talk aobut 'Down here' SHit, we can make the hits as big as we want!

PEACE

DREW

I saw that 60 ft table drew, i cleared it also. But it wasnt around very long. It was also as long as the whole park so you had to start almost over by the lift to get enough speed for it.

I once modified the angle launch of the flat 40 footer table jump at val d'irène to try those big cork 1080 and it throwed me to the flat....

It means that I was like 20 feets in the air, and I landed at something like 80 feet after the launch........

Those flat table tops should be a lot more kicker so you could get a lot of air .

Sorry, that message above was to appskier, but it sounds like it is to Quebecfreestyler. Dude, appskier, we had that hit for 1 night and 1 day. I was there the whole night, and 3 people hit it that night. 2 snowboarders (Ross and Ben) and Chris Reynolds. The next day, i was also there at noon (it was a school day) ME and hames hit it that day, and then we modified it in between sessions. There is no way you could have hit it. Youre right though, you had to straightline the whole park to hit it.

your right, i didnt try it. i was just trying to be cool like you, i feel bad now.
