T2i WTF

I was recording video with my t2I today. It wasn't hot outside, mid to upper 60's and I recorded video for about an hour or so. Towards the end of recording I got the overheat signal and shut off the camera and took out the battery. 30 minutes later I put the battery back in and the camera turned on so I thought it was ok. I then took the battery out to charge and left it for an hour or so. Now my camera won't even turn on. Any chance that my camera isn't totally fucked or fixable? I just got this camera a few months ago and its concerning that I was only able to shoot 25 minutes of video over an hour and 10 minute period until the thing started to over heat.

I will leave the camera bee and try and turn it on later tonight.

I'm emailing canon currently. Nothing has changed. I got my battery fully charged and all that I can get the camera to do is have the flash pop up when I click the button to take a picture. EOS Utility doesn't recognize my camera and I have put in new SD cards. Nothing seems to be working.

Earlier this week I tried to turn on my camera and the camera didn't turn on. Same thing I am experiencing right now. I was however able to get it to start by turning the camera off and taking out the battery and restarting the camera. So I don't think its an overheating issue.

Not sure if anyone here will know what is up, I just noticed that I can change the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. I have reformatted my sd card and used other sd's and it has done nothing.

try taking out the little round battery that keeps your date information. aparantly replacing this saves a lot of bugs. if not send it to garanty
