Went home for a few days (Sun Valley, ID) and took my camera gear. I met up with some friends and the Sun Villain crew after going our own ways for college, this is what we ended up doing with our time!!

This is one of my first 'legit edits' in a way, so I am still learning about my camera, editing software, and overall filming composition. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, as the media & arts forum posters seem to have great knowledge and thoughts!!

Any thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Concerns? I am just curious to what others think of the overall editing, color grad, filming?

I did do a little CC with Magic Bullet looks, only on 10 or so shots I would say, but I did play with the brightness/contrast adjustments in premiere pro. Prob a amateur move but I think it worked alright... Thanks though!! We had a great time, always having fun!!
 
Canon 18-55mm and in some shots I had a .45 wide angle lens adapter that was laying around the house. It works quite well up close, but def looking to upgrade on lenses in the near future!!
 
Nice edit. I love Sun Valley, my grandma aunt and uncle live there....I swim at that pool all the time. My grandmas house is right up the street. I lived the vibe of the edit and the fact that I knew the locations and it made me wanna get back to school in Boise and head up to Sun Valley haha....
 
Word man, my parents have a house right up the street as well so whenever we go back home we run that pool haha!!

 
Yeah man I got a little to close but luckily I had a .45 wide angle lens adapter that I am not too worried about that ended up protecting my lens quite well!!
 
very well done, beat matching really helped, song and flow matched, and good variety all around on the shots.
 
that was sick, great editing and camera skills. i loved how you shot up the old skis, and the wake surf part was awesome, good job
 
Semi-Automatic weapons and PBR, awesome combo!

Definitely a legit edit though. Colors were great, editing was great, cinematography was awesome, and it just overall had a great vibe.
 
I've been going to Idaho my whole life and I've lived there for 2 years and I've never had a potato from Idaho before, and they arent even hyped up at all. It's weird that 99% of people assosiate Idaho with potatoes, sucks because its a beautiful state with lots to offer, can't compare with california where I grew up but it's deserves to be known for something besides potatoes thats forshure.....We get most our potatoes from Washington anyways because its cheaper and the state makes more money exporting.

Not hating on you, don't worry your 1 of millions of people who think Idaho=potatoes only.
 
mcdonalds buys most of theyre potatoes from simplot, an idaho company. so youve probably had potatoes form idaho before, and they do grow alot of potatoes, as well as barley
 
meh, its all whatever, I bet california grows way more potatoes than idaho, and I know the whole simplot story but it's still weird to me that EVERYONE, literally EVERY FUCKING PERSON I tell I live in Idaho brings up the potatoes first thing. Kinda sad you know?

But yeah, hopefully I see more edits from you guys this winter, this one was legit. I met some kids a couple years back in Sun Valley that I sold dank too and they pretty much did this same shit all summer haha...
