the only thing this proves, is how played the switchup270 is. this trick actually wins contests? skiers get super hype for doing it repeatedly through out an edit is lame.

That was gay as fuck. Or my sarcasm meter is broken. Cool, he did all 8, but not on a real mountain on different rails in a single continuous shot. Unimpressive.

correct.
Hooray for nuggets, taps, presses, nollie ins/outs/swaps, butter ins, manuals out (Heed in Wicked, yaaay) Andy Parry, one-footers, laybacks, reverts, rail transfers, tip drops, crook slides, blunts, my homey Allen Lam,, etc.
Switch ups are cool, and when they're clean and flowy, they look dope and represent a good example of a skiers tech ability (in terms edge control and jibbing) and style.
BUT, for whatever reason, a skier's ability to hop around on rails and boxes has become the #1 barometer for whether he's good or not. Thank god for a new movement towards creativity and style over "how many switch ups can I do".

I always found most contests end up being judged by people that dont actually do the tiricks themselves, you know the older industry types. Sure they may be good skiers in their own right but they just dont know the tricks first hand. So you end up with this big misconception over whats hard and what isn't. So tricks like unnaty lip 2s get overlooked for elaborate but easy sw up combos.

haha okay i made this edit!

we made it for fun! no biggie! just chillin!

we didnt make it, so he could try to compete with tom! he just tried all 8 man!

and the intro is just for fun!

haha u guys take things waaay to serious

yea they do..the title wasn't serious and was actually a mistake on my part..no need for yall to get hot n bothered. and the_tim can fuck off i've been contributing alot longer. props on the edit man it was dope.

how can you even make an argument that the the pvc one is better than wallish's? it's the same rail everytime...with cuts...and not as steezy

Aiiight, this is actually Sig Tveit speaking right here...

first of all i want yall to stop talking like i made this thread because i'm not the cocky ass who would do such a thing. We were just having a fun session when i figured i wanted to do the "all eight" in front of the camera... The intro part we just filmed because we were having fun and shit. I didn't even know my boy were going to put it in the edit. But he did and i think it turned out funny as shit! For all of you who takes this intro seriously, I say this: Jacob saying "As soon as saw Jon doing a new trick, I was there to find a way to improove it", is the same at me saying the same thing about Tom, because Jacob's copies ain't shit compeared to what Jon does... Same way as my all eight on a backyard rail with 50 tries ain't shit compeared to Tom who did it all in one run at snow.

hands down, keep it ninthw9rd

yea contributing to yourself by posting up the same shitty footage over and over... good job. tops the time you made fun of the kid in your icon. stellar.

that kid thought the edit was funny. and i do have plans on getting much better footage next season..sorry it didn't meet your standards..that was totally my intent.
