T-Halls or AR6

So I've narrowed it down to these two skis for next year. I'm 6'2 and 175 pounds and i ski about 80% park and 20% all-mountain (groomers, trees, bumps, occasional EC pow). I'm a pretty agressive skier and I like to go fast down slopes, but I also like a playful ski to butter... I had 181 Scratch FS Wrs and I really liked them, but I'm looking for something softer for next year.

It's either the 09 T-Halls (supposed to be a bit stiffer this year than the past models for more all-mountain abilities) or the 09 AR6's (i'm afraid they'll be too similar to the scratch in terms of flex)

What do you think will better fit my needs?

hey bro, at your weight, the ar6 will feel plenty soft, and they will hold up to more all mountain. they may weight a bit more because of the ar1 core instead of the t halls ar2 core. that what i know...

You guys are all wrong. The T-Hall and the AR6 both have the same core (AR core 1), the T-Hall is still softer than the AR6 even if they stiffened it up and the T-Hall also comes in 181.

Knowing all of this, which one will be better for me considering what I said in the beginning of the thread?

and to the thread creator. I was basically in the same position as you and went with the T-Halls this year because they're so freaking sick... not much else i can say except i'm stoked.

I think both are dope sicks, but since you are gonna be doing 80 percent park get the T-halls. I heard they are little stiffer this year and will be better all moutain also.

im not sure if this is a factor for u, but your t-halls will probably be rockered after about half the season, i know two people who ski t-halls that are now rockered

I say Ar6's ,sick graphics and theyve been sick tofunwith every year theyve been out. i loved mine from two years ago but then they got stollen last year.. and im still so pissed id do anything to get thoes skis back

I think the ar6's will be too similar to the rossi's which you said you didn't want. I would say go with the t-halls. its softer which you are looking for. You'll be able to butter everything. and they should work alright for pow too cuz they're a little lighter than the ar6's
