T-halls or ar6 ++++karma

it really depends how youre going to spend your time on the mountain, from what I have heard/read the AR6's are much better all mountain, and are stiffer than the t-halls, not that they are not butterable. while the t-halls are softer and a much more park oriented ski.

Because of the fact I don't know your height, weight or what you want to use them for recommend only considering the ski. I believe the AR6 is the way to go. The T-Hall is a nice shape but very soft. The AR6 is a little stiffer but can handle various terrain. ie. Park, Pipe, Groomers, Glades. If you want to ski more powder/fresh snow but don't want to go so big in skis, and if you insist on choosing Armada then go with the ARV. This is truly an all-mountain ski that will not disspoint neither in the park nor powder.
I hope that helped
Have a great season. Stay Irie

from what ive heard theyre pretty much the same ski except the thalls dofter. i got the thalls and theyre so sick

Thats pretty much it.

I would say that they are both a good ski for the park but outside of the park the ar6 will be a bit better but maybe not cause the t-halls are only soft in the front, I don't find the back of the ski soft. So ya both are great skis!

the ar6 is a great one ski quiver. it can still do well in pow and all mountain and holds down in the park. the t hall is essentially a noodle with bindings attached to it

I agree with everyone else here. From what I've heard, you can't go wrong with the AR6 unless you are going to be doing strictly 100% park. The T-halls are basically nothing but park, while the AR6 gives you a little versatility.

I had another thread about the AR6, but it got buried so I'll ask here to some of you that know about the ar6 and armada's skis.

Do you guys think the 171cm AR6 would be too short for some one who is about 5'7" and 140lbs? It seems like a relatively soft ski, and I'm a good skier so I worry that I'll overpower it. On the other hand, it would be for only Minnesota/Wisconsin skiing, so pow/backcountry isn't an issue.

I have some T-Hall skis they are great if you want a ski to butter on ride in the park. Both are very similar skis except for the butter zone in the T-Hall's.

How bout the pipe cleaners they are basically the ar6 with a race base and i believe a flex inbetween the ar6 and t-hall. just a thought.

i have a pair of ar6s and i would highly recommend them...

and^, pipe cleaners are stiffer than ar6s, my brother has them

i can't give you a review of either. BUt having seen both and having a freind who rides them I like the ar6's over the t'halls. They just seem to be more of an allmountain ski over the t's.

I'm almost your exact height but I weigh 150.

I've used both the AR6 and the T-Hall, and honestly I prefer the T-Hall. I use this ski almost exclusively in the park and on groomers. The T-Hall is just a funner ski, its got great pop, but its not too soft that you'll eat shit if you land slightly backseat off a jump. The AR6 is a great ski too, but since I'm using it for park I decided to get the T-Hall.

Get the T-Hall, you won't regret it. Also, since the T-Hall is softer you'd be fine going with a 181.

i get to pick whatever armada i want each year and i've gotten the ar6 every year its been available, its my go to ski for park. i can't think of a better recommendation than that.

i think thall does mention butterzones in this years product video, in the product description its referred to as the unique flex pattern and core profile.
