I just get a horrible vibe from him. He just seems like he'd be a total dick in person. He sounds so full of himself....i mean...mad props and he's amazing and everything.....he just seems like an asshole......am i the only one or does anybody else get that from him?

i read the article and thats what spurred this thread, i mean, have you ever watched the x-games interviews with him, i'm sorry if it offends you, but he just seems like a dick, thats all im sayin
 
he has an over the top personality which could be confused for being a dick but you have to dig deeper. i guy like that is exactly what needs to be on top in this sport, not some person who doesnt give a fuck about our sport or where its going.
 
tanner seems so chilled out in person. he's just really pasionate about his skiing.

he was chill signing autographs and talking to kids, but when his movie was on he was hooting and hollering and telling the crew to turn up the volume, please!
 
okay, i respect the guy for his skiing and for everything he's doing for the sport, but i guess i'd just have to meet him in person, until i get a 1 on 1 with him i might just have a scewed perspective
 
THall seems really chill. i was shocked to hear that people were throwing snowballs at him during his final run. i dont no why you would think he is a dick by simply looking at him on tv
 
Tanner is a good person he has grown up a lot. you people get all these bad vibes from him he is just very opinionated thats all.
 
tanner seems really cool. after people bood him and somone even threw a snowball he didnt do anything. stop hating on him.
 
Jeez, when i read the interview i just felt really sad for him, you win and yet you get snowballs chucked at ya...that would kinda suck no?

Then again every skiier has there own personality, Dumont is a cocky son of a b**ch but he seems like a nice enough guy, everyone loves olsson and T-Hall, well he's just T-Hall lol
 
yeah.... I used to kinda think that... then I realized I was being the asshole by being that judgemental when I had never even met him. I've met the guy at signings and stuff now and found out he's pretty chill. and damn dude, you gotta have a little big of an ego to be at the top of the ski industry.
