The second he started saying racing was easy and shit i lost total respect for him. I'm not a racer, and i don't have a race background, but i know how good of skiers those guys are. All around skiers, just because they aren't spinning off jumps doesn't mean they're not good skiers. Most of you guys have a skewed perspective of racers, you see the gaper ass lame skiers who just happen to ski between some gates. Around here the racers are world class athletes and the can rip outside of the gates too. Then you step it up to world cup racers who are even sicker, and you get a little bitch like tanner ripping on them and saying he's a better skier than them, its bullshit.

^I agree with baker. I think people who ski bumps, pow, and prety much every where else are way better skiers then tanner, and lots of other park riders. It takes way more skill, reaction, knowledge of the sport to ski every where, then it is to just hit a rail or jump over and over like they do. Dont get me wrong, i love freestyle I spend half my time in the park but what tannersay is just ignorant.

ski-hobo, what's wrong with XL pants? They look sick... You must look like a punter with your tight ass pants. Anywayz... Tanner's a sick skier, I mean he may not be the best big mountain skier around but he's still trying to progress into it and that's what freestyle's about.

why do you guys have such a huge grudge on him for whering big pants when every one else in skiing wheres pants just as baggy, and if he doesnt like racing, why should he hide it. rossignol ripped him off to gve bode miller tons of money so hes bitter. big fuckin deal

i don't hate tanner as a skiier, i think he is one of the most progressive skiiers out there and he is bringing a lot of coverage and attention to the 'newschool' scene. however, i do not respect him as a person. there are always two different sides of an athlete, the side that you see as an athlete and the side you see as a real person. personally there are a lot of athletes i don't like as people but i have a lot of respect for their accomplishments and their skills, for example barry bonds.

Baker, you along with every racer in the world. I mean they severly hate Tanner now because he said that shit. I mean I lost respect for him too just because it gave us a bad name and made him look like a complete sheltered tool.

How could you hate t he is skiing. If i could describe skiing in one word it would be Tanner or maybe hall but anyway he rules it and owns you all. And if you hate him as a person you suck and have no style.

 
I think he is getting along way better now. especially after he has stopped blazing and starting to take things a little more seriously.
