Dude, It's definitley not overkill. I'll bet the pain he felt after jumping roughly 130 feet and falling probably 20+ feet out of the air and breaking both of his ankles definitely warranted what ever he wanted to say.

It didn't make me giggle at all. It made me cringe.
 
I doubt it hurt that much at first but it was probably just the most shocking thing ever. I mean if u feel anything going on inside ur boots u know somethings up. I cant imagine the feeling of both your ankles just exploding. What i always thought would be the hardest part of the whole thing is getting the ski boots off. Did they saw em off or what?
 
yeah in the videos its not that bad like TBC but after seeing it last night and him screamin about his ankles i really felt sick after it....
 
that was one of the most disturbing thing si have ever seen. It gave me new respect for him that he overcame all that and had time "to think about his life" instead of skiing, smokin up, drinking and ladies all the time
 
Last year someone broke my leg and ankle in a football game and a split second after it happened I screamed "FUCK MY ANKLE'S BROKEN" I mean honestly, you're one of the top skiers in the sport and you try a sw 9 on a 130 ft bc gap and you really feeel both of your ankles break inside your boots, what the fuck do you expect him to do just scream like a girl?
 
wow i haven't seen the normal speed of his crash, im used to seeing it in slow mo from TBC, damn that looked like it hurt!!!, thats scary with him screaming and shit
 
i think that made it worse. i saw it on pyb and it wasnt too bad. i saw it on espn it wasnt tthat bad. but when i watched it off the video camera adn the tv it just made it seem all that worse almost realer then the first 2 times i saw it.
 
i cant watch that without feeling weird...def messes my stomach up, glad they didnt put the sound in the really movie.
 
i know that feeling when you think you've broken something. You just start freakin out and spazzing all over th place and yelling. Last year when i did like a a crazy flip to head from a fall i thought i broke my neck. It was so scary.
 
this girl knows what shes talking about... as pussy as you all my think tanner sounds when this happens, how would you react right away? I honestly felt sick the first time i saw this but now it just shows me how real the risks in this sport are and how much love and passion they put into what they do. all the respect in the world goes out tanner for overcoming this and winning superpipe like a true champ!!
