Boulder police broke up a group of people performing “extreme ski stunts†at New Vista High School early Friday morning, and cited one participant with drug possession.
Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley said an officer patrolling near the school at 1:45 a.m. noticed cars parked at the rear entrance to the school at 700 20th St.
When the officer went to check out the situation, several men approached and said they were using rails at the school to perform tricks off of.
The officer explained they were trespassing and needed to leave, but not before detecting the odor of marijuana on one man, Huntley said.
Tanner Hall, 25, of Montana, was ticketed for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and the group was let go.
