I was reading the article about dumonts recovery and it said that tanner hall and dumont were arrested after the U.S. Freeskiing Open ...any1 know y they were arrested?

SO long it couldn't be told in a paragraph or less, I doubt it. I don't even know what happened but i'd bet it combines some elements of what follows. Someone said something, then someone hit someone else, then it turned into a scene and everyone around got arrested. Or, someone smoked something somewhere a little too obvious, or someone was acting like an asshole in some bar..... if it is more exciting then any of these generic instances please elaborate, if not who cares, the shit happens a thousand times a day.

 
it all goes back to something i read in freeskier magazne a while back. some skiers go to meeting respectfully and some go there smoking weed and baing dicks. who do you think will get arrested?

so it all started at the set of barneys new "comeback special" T was hatin on the big purple dinosoar, there was some verbal profanity thrown around and one thing led to the next so t went to jail then simon slept with barneys wife, so naturally barney was pretty pissed so they got into a fist fight and barney was badly injured and simon was sent to the slammer. Thats how shit went down that dark and dreary night.

It had nothing to do with drugs. Why do these stupid misinformation threads get started? Monkeysteeze, I might be a newbie but it is quite obvious that none of you know the real story or the people involved. And the rest of you, don't post propoganda and then chew out the people who actually know what they're talking about.
