T-hall a sellout or just tryin to get sum xtra $$$?

I want to know how old everyone in this thread is. Cuz really you guys don't know shit...Instead of criticizing a badass like tanner...why don't you do something productive...anything

i saw t-hall 2 days ago, he had armadas and a redbull bandana, i would tell you about all the amazing shit he threw down but i was to concerned about what he was wearing.

but really, who cares he's a good skiier, and he was skiing mogul lines at momentum which was pretty cool

yeah right, they skate cus they can man, they're just rebels without a cause doing siq wicked 360 spine gaps all over the world 1 conviently placed spine ramp at a time. You just dont get what rollerblading is really about bro. Im a soul skater \m/

and why wouldnt you to take the oppurtunity to ski for a living and get a bunch of free shit. I guess if your some type of fag or something then thats fine.

I DONT WANT TO PLAY MY GAMES WITH NO DIL-DO

if i were in tanners situation id definately try to make as much money as possible and not care what a bunch of people on a web forum said.

thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard.... no red bull i wont let you give me stacks of cash and pay for my travel expenses cause im so fuckin core and am sticking with one company.

hahahah please. i would be ballin hard off every and any companies money .... has nothing to do with my love for sking ? i just enjoy balling hard

Agreed. That term is really pointless. All people who are pro at anything do it because they love it. Some of them can make a bunch of money off sponsors and such so why the fuck wouldn't you? Having some high end, mainstream companies behind you doesn't make a person any less "core" or whatever the word is, they still do it because they love skiing. If they didn't they wouldn't have gone into it at all. Nobody in their right mind goes into a sport like that just for the money.

Yeah, today he was doing double backs all afternoon on momentums big table, and shredding the top of their mogul lanes almost every other lap.

TJ did a double too, those guys were going nuts on that jump.

T-hall loves to ski, it's pretty damn obvious when you see him. If that love of the sport, coupled with amazing talent, and a competitive drive, has earned him some money, then good, he deserves it.

I don't think it really matters. I used to be way anti T-hall, but he started skiing just like us, but way good, got a good company behind him and now he is enjoying life. Just ignore the fame and watch the skiing, it is sick if you haven't noticed.

i saw tanner is whistler village with TJ and some other guys i didnt recodnize and when tanner wasnt looking they all left and tanner had to chase them to catch up even tho his pants were at his knees and he could barly walk.

just thought id share

no dude there is defiantly a point where someone could be selling out. everyone needs money but signing a deal with Right Guard or something stupid like that defiantly can fall in the category of selling out.

Mate, penciled or not it was fucking crazy! Grabs are pretty easy, 12's the pipe I would think are not.

Hall didnt do anything as progressive.

i think tanner is mostly just greatfull that he is so big in the ski industry and he knows without his sponsors he would not be where he is today... so im sure he likes to thanks his sposors a lot... but i agree he does go overboard a little bit sometimes..

We all know he does know what skiing's all about. I mean yeah he has the NRG!-drink sponsor who pays him phat cheddah to drink in their juices while doing extreme stuff like a candid interview on the beach. But I mean he reps his companies well buy* mentioning them alot, grenade, Armada, Viking Association, Oakley, Dalbello Boots. Who cares?!

Call it what you will, I hate that term because it always seems to be used in a negative way. Face it, if you could "sell out" you'd do it in a heartbeat. I think what matters in a skier is what they do on the snow, not what kind of sponsors they have.
