Hey all.So its been just over a week since I've had surgery. There isn't any real info on the internet or followups about this LARS ligament. So I've brought it on to myself to let you know how she goes! Any of you who have had knee surg or are getting surgery soon check my updates. Its too early for me to guarantee LARS is the right choice, but i will be giving a non-biased opinion on how I feel about it.

Hope everyone is having a rad winter.

What nick said. youll be back on top soon!btw TJ, I read your blog post two days ago on this and it was a good choice.

kept me oddly positive as I prep for a surgery myself,

thanks for sharing, and vibes on the recovery

tj you got me into freestyle skiing in the first place like 4-5 years ago, cant wait to see you out and healthy again!

wow thats pretty cool stuff. good luck with your recovery. im 7 weeks post-op on a hamstring graft acl so i feel ya.

weight bearing the first day?!

that's so sick man! i can't wait to hear more about this. good luck on a speedy recovery, sounds like it's going well so far.

Keeping a blog on the LARS option is a spectacular public service bulletin for the rest of us. Thanks.

What you must have had to go through in your mind as you re-tore and recover again has got to be so hard. The mental side of injuries can be so defeating and you appear to be showing your true strength by staying focused, positive, and still enthusiastic about skiing. I have lots of respect for you. I wish you lots of luck and inner strength, and I'll be rooting for you again soon.

my best friend had this surgery last year, and he just skiing again and killing it! Also he rides tele which is even harder on the knees. good luck dude, keep us updated

i was weight bearing straight out of the hospital bed after my hamstring graft.

Really stoked on this surg though, its cool to see you're progress compared to mine even with the different grafts.

My ACL is gonzo, i've got an inch of play in it and my Cti brace lets me ski but I'm ready to get er' done and be able to take impact again. Can't eait to

Damn I didn't know you got hurt again. Good luck with the surg, my knee is feeling great after 2 years with a patella graft. Interested to read about this.

damn thats crazy never heard about this i had a hamstring graft and it worked pretty well but im interested to learn how this goes

Really interesting post TJ. The LARS surgery option keeps popping up in the news for various athletes, but I hadn't really heard anything specific about it. Best of luck with the quick recovery!
