alright, when they first came out, everyone in the ski/snowboard community was crazy about them. they do have some pretty decent beat, i must say. my good friend listened to them 24/7 too. then, the craze died down for a bit, but lately i've been hearing alot of them again. what's up with that?

I don't know man, it does seem like they are making something of a comeback though, it's hard to say why really. My only guess is that it's because they really aren't all that bad (or to be less of a dick one could say that they do have some talent), they made a name for themselves initially but then got pretty played out, now they seem to be experiencing a comeback of sorts.

correction; everyone in the entire action sports community couldnt get enough of them. watch ANY video from ANY sport 4 or 5 years ago, and you'll hear two or three swollen members tracks.

and thats ok...but when a skier like jamie burge ends up with the same swollen song as tanner hall...things can get a little awkward.

i dunno if they're making a 'comeback' as much as they just took a while to put out their next album which is supposed to be coming out soon i read..i think they just waited extra long after all the buzz about them to put out another l.p., hence the 'comeback' status, when really they just lagged

i hardly think that s&m is making a comeback.

their new album has been pushed back SIX times. and when an album gets pushed back, that's never good news. it usually means that SOMEONE higher up didn't feel that the album sounded "something" enough. based on their last release, i'm very afraid of what this album is oging to sound lke.

far too fly to stay stationary...
 
^^^ thats what i thought too, Heavy was a pretty big dissapointment, but if you go to their site you can listen to a sample of their new stuff and it doesnt sound too bad, hopefully they realized Heavy was a big mistake

haha, everybody was crazy about them, but all of a sudden everyone jumped on the "down with swollen members" bandwagon because they got too popular in the ski/snowboard community. I still like their older stuff, but heavy wasn't all that great. They're still a great group and I hope we hear more of them in ski movies to come.
 
swollen mebers aern't makin a comeback, they were nevr at a low... they are to good to get any better
 
swollen members are pretty tight. i caught on to em through ski movies and their new shit sounds sick. ill definately be downloadin that.
 
Yeah, that icon is Battleaxe but its from like 5 years ago and I'm too lazy to change it. I used to be a real big S+M fan but in my opinion Heavy really sucked. However, someone else mentioned Sweatshop Union and they are the shit
