Switzerland 2016/17

Hey folks,

The snow is gone around my area in Switzerland which made me think about next season...

I started saving for it already but the problem is nobody I know is really into pushing themselves while skiing.

So i was wondering if anyone has already got some plans for Switzerland this coming season.

I will most likely be skiing until my bank account is empty. If there's anything you need to know about accommodation and good places to ski just pm me.

It would be sick if we could plan something early on and get some of you together here in Switzerland.

Looking forward to seeing some of you!

Since you're swiss, I assume you are aware that Switzerland is a fairly large country, maybe you should be more specific about where you ski.

I ski in Flumserberg and Davos mainly.

To be honest I don't really care where to ski in Switzerland if I can make a weekend out of it.

The closest 1 Day trip skiing is 2h there and back for me...

Just a quick question, how is Davos? I've visited in the summer and really dug the town.

Davos is extremly busy in the winter season but when it comes to skiing... theres loads of skiing areas. I can really recommend Parsenn.

How does the terrain there stack up to Verbier?

I know that there's loads of motivated skiers skiing in Davos, just walk up and say gruezi!

I normally say alleghra, bun di or buna laina da vant chasa. Or maybe servus. But that's cus I like Austria and Engiadina.

I was there for 3 years but this past season was my last.

Flumserberg was okay but their park was brutal. Davos I never liked that much tbh.

I usually frequented laax the most. Good range of terrain and the park was one of the better ones I rode in Europe. Mythen had a more chill vibe though, park was okay and tickets were a third of the price of laax. Braunwald was my favorite powder hole on the snowy days.

Have you looked into the meilenweiss pass? I had it one season and its a lot of skiing for 1000chf

I'll miss CH, had some good times there

The park in Flumserberg is getting smaller every year...

But Laax oh my... if only the tickets were cheaper.

I have actually never heard of Meilenweiss pass.

Wow I just checked it out. My grandparents life 30mins from there.

1000 is still a lot for me due to me being in an apprentiship and earning only 800.- a month. Skigear has been destroying my savings lately. The driving lessons wont help that at all... its gonna be a rough season... ^^

I live in nendaz. Seriously epic terrain. If you want freestyle Thyon has the best park. But the resort sucks. Verbier has the best partying but full of army brats for the most part. All the resorts are linked anyway so doesn't matter so much where you stay

Anyhow if I'm free and you need showing around no worries

Yo I'm here! Interested in linking up the next couple of days?
