Switching from itunes to media player?

My i-pod stopped working a while ago so i recently bought a new different mp3 player. it uses media player so i cant use i tunes anymore. the problem is that media player doesnt pick up all the songs i had in i-tunes. does anybody know how to make them all work?
 
did you encode files in itunes in the acc format? if you did wmp won't read them. if your new mp3 player supports acc though you can get a plugin for wmp that will let you play acc files, dunno if it will let you sync them to your mp3 player or not though.. check out http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?s=08bc3e0d67aa9b2c5845c78e721e8688&showtopic=4337&pid=29091&mode=threaded&start=

the other option is finding an acc>mp3 converter and converting your whole collection to mp3. the problem with this is that there will be some loss in quality and it could end up taking a very long time
 
if they are songs that you download through itunes that you have to do what this man said ^. but otherwise if they are just regular mp3 files that means they are somewhere on your computer, and you have to locate them, and if you can't do that then you need to take some technology classes.
