So i've just started trying switch up's on rails. I've heard people saying there gay on straight rails. Why do you think that?

i like switch ups, i like doing em and seeing em, who cares what people say, but they prob say it cause they think switch ups on flat bars are to easy or some thing... i dont know

the look so good on straight rails, especially at the end. They look really good on s rails too, but it depends on which way the s rail goes.

you are right. only at the end. otherwise its gets all ballet and shit, and doesnt look smooth. the reason i hate switch ups on straight rails is cuz its forced. it doesnt look smooth cuz you dont have the natural flow to jump up and switch up like you do on a kiner or an S, where it's throwing you that way anyway.

i learned them on a 10 ft flat rail, which was incredibly difficult, but even then they are a fun trick to learn and do, and sick when applied to any rail.

fuck that they are more difficult on flat rails....i love late switchups where you land on the last few feet of hte rail and continue your spin out or 270 out
