Yo so im a good switch skier, can carve down groomers real fast, am fine with it

but when skiing on flats, or on inruns, i lose speed and cant keep speed to hit jumps,

sorry for no searchbar too lazy

you might be dragging an edge or still wedging. i can actually go faster switch by leaning forward on my nose. try waxing your skis nice.

well the key to keeping speed on flats is the frech fry method. You must be doing the reverse pizza, your gonna wanna straighten your skis out like french fries. That is the secret to keeping speed on flats.

You have to assume that will happen when riding switch, so either start higher up and dont speed check or ski most of the way to the jump forwards and in the last 50ft just jump and do a revert into switch and that should help you carry speed better. Also try and keep your skis really parallel when you ski switch.

word, i think my stance might get a little wide and im not legit tucking either so im deg gonna be skiin slower

dont switch snowplow, stay on edge on the inrun, keep your weight forward on the way in, dont widen that stance til the top of the lip.

spin like a TOP sucka, switch 16s!
