I think it's sick that someone tries to get out on the market. everyone has to start somewhere. so what if it's not the best right away, but if we support a mag spescifically aimed towards our genre of the sport I belive this can really go somewhere. Props guys!

as for the ads.. just make some up promoting nothing. itll be good. and then when you go to a company looking to get their ad in.. they get an idea of how the ads will look and their placement.. always have placers.. like "your ad could be here" and design somethin up.

what did you use to lay it all out? quark? indesign?

Magazines don't survive thanks to subscriptions and copies bought at Chapters. They survive thanks to ad revenue.

I just want to give mad props to Clint at Switch mag. I went to the website and emailed them to ask how I can get a copy as I live in vermont, which is a little far from Jibij. Clint emailed me back and asked for my address, said he would send one right out to me. As far as you haters saying it's sketchy quality, blah, blah, blah...everyone has to start somewhere, and when you're an upstart mag with little capital to work with, you do the best with what you have. If you remember the very first issue of Freeze, you know what I mean.
