Switch rodeos

Are they hard? I can do rodeo 5s pretty easily (not trying to sound cocky) and it just seems like they wouldn't be hard. Any advice k+

Can you do switch spins? 5s? 7s?

I can't do them because of the way I look over my shoulder while switch, but I've heard from people who can do both forward and switch rodeo 5s that switch is easier as long as you're comfortable with jumping switch.

for switch rodeo just do a few switch 5's to start, then just dip your right shoulder a little (assuming you're spinning left) and sort of open your chest up to the sky. commit to it and stomp out

It's hard to put it in words, hope that helps, but if i was you i'd just go find a bunch of videos of swtich rodeo's and try to copy.

Thanks a lot, +K, I actually how the process goes, but I don't like the idea of diving my head while switch.. I'm just not prepared for this level yet and for the time being, skiing will be in about 20 days for me.

Don't think of it as diving your head, think of it as dipping your shoulder. It seems like one of those thinks you sorta gradually get into while doing switch 5s.

It is all in the shoulders. I was trying switch rodeos and didn't dip the shoulder, which resulted in me doing a switch front flip and a half

Do a misty 5 on a tramp and then do the same skiing switch.

Imagine doing a 90 to lincoln to 90, that's how I learned.

It's actually super easy, I can't do rodeos or mistys, this is my only flip. You can see your landing nice and early so you know if you need to start rotating faster/slower. It would definitely help to be comfortable hitting jumps switch, and you should be definitely able to switch 5
