i was re-watching area 51 today because i hadent seen it for over a year and noticed somting...CR pulls a switch misty 720 and a corked 1260 in his section...i thought that olsson did the first switch misty but now i know...that movie is wicked mint yall should go watch it again

Ever here of sean sullivan he is one of the best underatted tahoe freeskiers he was pulling switch misty's in 1998 when the K2 poachers were the only twin tip skis out. He's in High society at the very end pulling a huge 900 over the 110ft gap at mammoth mountain.

 
i was talking to a guy from TGR who said taht taht wasnt CR, but a no name guy that looked like him, so they decided to put him in CRs segment

 
Hmmm, that would be interesting if it really wasn't CR... the unknown pro......

anyway, in the Realm the Phils were busting out switch rodeos and switch mistys- and that was TGR's big mountain flick that came out the same year as Area 51, right? I'd go watch Area 51 but my brother stole it, the bastard.

umm yeah ollson did the first switch misty 900, and JP does a switch misty in 13. but CR does a 1440 in area 51 which is pretty sick

For all those that think im talking about the movie 1999, i was not...i was talking about the year 1999 in which AREA 51 the movie was made...oh an quebec (i think it was) ya i also have the realm rite now too and saw it there first...i was like wtf he just did a switch misty 7....dam

Yea you would land fakie. Area 51 was amazin though. THat guy did look like CR thought but i think it wasnt him. you know CR could do a 1440 when he was 16!!! thats insane

CR did 1440's when he was 15 not 16. He did do a switch misty.

And Jon was not the first to do a switch misty 900. I doubt any of you ever saw it but i have on tape the X-Games qualifier from the 2000 x games (the 2nd time) and there were guys doing switch misty 720s and 900s, Unknowns. But it started raining in the finals and they fell and Tanner won with a misty 720, and Skogen got 2nd with a switch rodeo 540

WHo is the mystery skier? If its not CR I think we would of heard of him because thats a sweet move and he would be sponsored. I watched it again I think it was CR!

in the intro of 13 there is a guy with brown/grey pants and red jacket that does a switch misty 720 off a backcountry kicker sticking(nout quite sticking but anyway) the landing switch in powder.

when i+´ve seen it before i´ve just thoguht it was a switch backj full but now i realize that it is even more a switch misty than jon olssons.

yea, im very sure its cusson, i just watched it, and is a switch misty, u dont go inverted, and he blantently goes inverted, so its a switch backfull

ok it might be cusson but he dlippin to the. side, he´s not doing a straight switch back full.

yeah i´ve been wondering about that trick too.

he comes out of it almost like a d-spin. but i´d say it´s a cork.

panda guy bumps alot of old stuff, pretty much all pointless, but i am actually surprised. a cork 1260 in 1999? news to me
 
uhh i know this answer is 2 years late but a skodeo was a thing skogen did that was like a weird rodeo. personally i think distinguishing between the two is splitting hairs (pointless) but they did look cool
