Switch landings in the pipe.

Spinning left down the pipe doing a 7 or a 10 i would be landing switch. How should you spot your landing? Should you be looking over your right shoulder as you come around to like 630? or look over the other shoulder like you would continue your spin.

Then on your next hit switch how should you take the transition? Just bend you knees the same way you would for a normal hit or is there a trick too it?

I dont think iv ever done a 10 down the pipe. But I know I would want my shoulders to come around to just shy of the fall line to take the next hit switch allyop. But its not the case if you where going to do another switch down the pipe hit. Im not sure lets talk about this and get on the same page

ya i would land with my shoulders fairly square to the copping
then as you go through the tranny open up to the down hill just enough to see you next hit. Not to much or you'll get sucked into going straight up the wall and not traveling
remember patience, patience, patience when doing switch allyup
and CCCR

What about taking off/setting up switch in the pipe? Usually I set up with an air-to-fakie or 360, but I have trouble maintaining speed going switch and getting above the coping going switch up the wall. I look over my left shoulder to spin down the pipe coming from the left wall, and have my skis staggered with the tail of the right (downhill) ski ahead of the left ski. Any suggestions/tips? Thanks very much.

How much are you traveling? When ridding switch you think you travel more then you really do. The other thing is a switch pump. Left foot forward, going in to left wall , sw allyoop.
have your shoulders face down the pipe. to much and you lose all your speed. to little and you cant see your hit.
I try and pump it the same way as go forwards . but backward. in like a pendulum motion lifting as you go up. CCCR

Thanks, I don't travel at all on switch hits, because I usually can't even get out of the pipe. Also, what does CCCR mean? I will try the switch pump though, and face shoulders down the pipe, like you say.

CCCR
