Switch frontflip?

yeah Shane McConkey can pull them and so can Marc-Andre Belliveau (I don't know how to spell his name) or whatever his name is. McConkeys are pretty small that I've seen but the dude who's name I can't spell pulled a huge one in the 2000 US Open.

Mauro Nunez can do them on QP's

i was thinking about them last week when i started pulling switch 180s (a lot of crazy things go through your head after landing a new trick). the landing would be super blind and you could really hurt yourself and your skis. crazy stuff, anybody got it on film?

it seems like a switch fron would be easier than a switch back, but im probably wrong

no i think your right, a frontflip is easier to throw and rotate, its just that you never get to go with the jump, you have to fight the way the jump throws you. With a switch frontflip you have the jump going with you and your flipping forward, so I think it would be a lot easier

yeah a switch front would seem to be easy if you got enough air

if you can get your hands on scott gaffney's 1999 or Freeze's 2000 US Open video they both have switch fronts. the rotation seems pretty effortless but it's completely blind, marc-andre bites it pretty hard later on in the big air becauses he under rotates. He fucking stomps it in the slopestyle though, then he pulls a huge switch back with a crazy tweaked out mute grab right after, so sick.

Todd Dostal at mount snow does em over the 60 footer, Mike Rosella at mount snow has down them over a 35 footer, Dave Lemilin has done em. They aren't that hard, just don't over rotate to your face

switch front is soooo much harder than switch back all due to its blindness. a switch back you spot your landing almost the second you throw. switch front you dont see your landing til you are on it

if i remember correctly, derek finn has uploaded a clip of him doing a switch front
