Switch flat spin

this is why i never come on ns anymore because theres all these kids who have no idea what there talking about. if you really want ill film a switch cork 7 tomorrow and a switch rodeo 7 and you will see the difference. i dont know why it goes rodeo when i carve harder, it just does. i dont know why everything has to be made so fuckin complex on newschoolers, its not that hard to understand.

dude, i straight up admited that i may be wrong (numerous times, actually) but asked for some type of reason as to why i am wrong. you still havent given it to me. i showed video of switch cork, and switch flatspin. they dont look the same. you said everything needs to be made complex- what do you want me to do? throw reason out of the picture?

there is also the possibility that when you carver harder, your body is thrown differently because of how you come off the lip due to the carving, which may throw you into rodeo. i dont carve into my spins at all, so when i throw a cork, i actually throw cork, not carve it. maybe that has something to do with it.

i still stand by my argument untill somebody has a reason why i am wrong. i put up 2 videos. one of a sw flatspin, and one of a sw cork. there nto the same.

its not because the spin is anything alike its because when u carve harder ure setting ure self up to come off the jump leaning back hard and spining around ure cock which is a rodeo. while cork u dont carve as hard because u dont want to go on that axis u only want to go cork which all u have to do is drop ure shoulder really, the carving is what sets u up but it doesnt mean there even close to the same thing, n ure like i dont know why everything has to be so complicated but ure explination for it was "it just does", well unless ure a fuckin retard it obiovusly is cuz u couldn't figure it out

I guess im an idiot then.. I know why it is, its just fuckin damn hard to explain what it feels like to someone who doesnt know how to do both switch cork and switch rodeo and i can bet that a good 98% of this site cant do both. its like trying to explain the color of sand. when i do switch cork i carve and drop my shoulder a little, when i do switch rodeo i carve harder setting more of a flip and i lean forward on my toes a little more. there

sorry my internet is FUCKED. anyway i was gonna say there is such a little difference between switch cork and rodeo that sometimes i do a switch cork and instead i do switch rodeo by accident.

fakie rodeo cork when spinning right

set the spin and then drop your right shoulder

fakie rodeo when spinning right

drop left shoulder toward teh landing as yoou set the rotation

fakie flat spin (the way i see and do them):

set the spin by throwingthe left shoulder toward the sky and the landing.

I found a clip with Jon Olsson from the movie Magic Moves. It's shot at Stryn in Norway, and i think this looks like a switch flat spin. It might be a rodeo or something, i'm not sure. he does it at 4:00 in this clip.

And does anyone know what the trick at 2:42 is? It's some kind of corked/off axis spin, but he does some weird flip right befor the landing...
