Did anyone else see the video of Tanner Hall at Team13.com. The last shot is of a switch d-spin 900 its pretty crazy. I was wondering what some other people thought of this.

its nothing like Jons because Jon does Switch MISTYS. This looks like a dspin but it is switch.

We really dont need to get in that stupid name controversy again over switch dspin/misty or rodeo/misty

umm first of all, this has been discussed before, but to the poster (since he obviously missed it): there may be a switch d-9 in there (i'm not sure) but it definitely isn't the clip that's labelled a switch d-spin 9.

and to detective: obviously it wont be the next X games trick because tanner can do a switch 900 and beat jon olsson's switch *misty* 900.

in team 13 the tricks are all messed up. when they say its a swtich d spin 9 its not. the switch d spin 9 is the very last clip.

and the thing vinnie does in propaganda is a switch d spin nine, he could EASLY get away with calling it that.

I just went to team13.com to check out those videos and there is a pretty cool clip of adam schwab(sp?) doing a switch back flip to front flip. It looks more like an aerial trick but is still pretty cool.

My friend asked me if i wanted to lay out or go water skiing, and thats when i realized that i dint want to answer this question and or any other aquatic sports question and i didn't want to see any of these people again. Next thing I new I went nuts.

 
the schrabs are huge huckers and its sick. its a switch back 180 frontflip. if everyone was like the schrabs it would be kinda gay, but their themselves. They like pulling huge stunts and being extreme. they dont care about style, and i think its cool. althogh i do like people with style too, i like both.

What the hell does 'steeze' mean, anyway? I've never been much of a ghetto child myself...

But back to Tanner for a moment... I haven't seen the video so this is just speculation. If he lands regular, then it actually is a switch D-spin 900- because he does a 180, then a d-spin 7. If he lands switch... then it must be a switch d-spin 1080... because who's ever heard of a d-spin 5? Therefore he's going 180 into a d-spin 9... but I haven't seen the video. There's your two options.

Here's a little brain food for ya on the 'steeze' subject. I went and checked out the so-called Fakie D-spin '900' (by the way, Tanner might have to go back to elementary school and learn how to count again), and the shit was pretty sick, but all this bitchin' about 'steezee' that u guys are wastin time with is a little annoying. I mean mabey Team 13 isn't 'trying to be cool' with their new slang term, mabey its some kind of inside joke. I don't know the team 13 crew personally, but I know that with my bros, new nicknames and slang words are poppin' up all the time. For ex. Just the other week, during a discussion which I can't even begin to figure out how it started, one of my friends mixed the words 'sweaty' and 'ass' together to get 'swass'. And at the time it was pretty funny. So mabey, team 13 really doesn't want to be 'cool', mabey they're just havin a good time (it might be a mix between 'stylee' and 'cheesy'), and mabey they don't crae if a bunch of small-timer punks like us think their word is gay.

But on a more important note, that was the ugliest 360 I've ever seen! Its not even a safety grab, its more of a squat-thing grab. The least he could do is get a stylee tuck on his safety grab.

if you have seen the video the one that says switch d-spin 900 is a switch 720 of some sort, the one that says switch misty 900 is actually the d-spin. They just fucked it up i guess cause it says misty 720 for a d-spin

hey COR, you cant compare rodney mullen to the schrabs, he doesn't 'huck'. he pulls off crazy technical stuff. its not like hes jumping a 20 stair 'with no style'.
