so i learned cork 7s last year...now this year i would like to learn switch cork 5s when i look on the videos it looks a lot harder to cork 5 than switch cork 5.

any tips

and yes i searched on the searchbar...it sux balls

that sounds sick man

welll i have no idea on how to throw it but i think it would be almost like a normal cork just backwards?

haha i do em on tramps and there fun

definitely get them on traps first but when you throw it you dip the opposite should of the way you are spinning so if you spin to the left you dip you right shoulder as you throw it, basically it's a backwards bio. When you throw them on skis make sure to carve into it because that will help alot. so recap dip your shoulder and carve in

nah if you tried to throw it like you do forwards, you go bio/misty depending on how hard you throw it.

they're really freakin hard, i spent most of my park time last season attempting them, but i always ended up bio instead of cork. i find it realy hard to do anything switch cork, because the lip always sends me bio. if you could do it that would defs be sick, and post up some tips for the rest of us n00bs.

They're actually really easy.

1. Make sure you have your switch spins down well first, like switch 7 at least

2. Come into the jump like a regular switch spin but come in from far left, carve a big c in the jump

3. as you go off the carving from this will make you go corked, don't get scared just keep looking and try and grab

4. hold on for the ride really

They are way easier than even I thought I learned them last year at the start of may. I had switch 9 and I decided to start carving my stuff and it just made me go super corked, was kind of scary at first but then i tried carving even more and then those turned into rodeo. It's simple, you'll get it man don't worry. here's a video of a sw/ cork 7 and sw/ cork 5 from the start of may, there ugly but you'll get the point a bit.

i forgot to mention that you should try and go off the top right of the jump (thats where i usually aim for) if your spinning left and vice versa.

you throw switch cork five like you throw forward bio five.but sometimes that goes into switch rodeo. just do like switch 180 to cork three. haha. that would be legit.

D.ulljuwallaweee thanks for the tip...if i get it down this year ill post some vids and tips. they look alot eaier thatn normal cork 5s. And i have tried over and over again....i think its really hard to cork 5 on a tramp cuz i can't get it.

actually thats how i learned switch cork 5's......... I could throw switch cork 7s but could never keep it to 5 until a friend told me to just visualize it like a bio 5 moving backwards. the set for a forward bio 5 and a switch cork 5 are really similar. Now I can see the finer differences but when your first learning it helps to visualize it like so

haha who are you to say that's not how you throw a trick? you can throw a trick any fucking way you want as long is the end result is the same/similar

just because somebody throws a sw cork different than the other person doesn't mean one way is right or wrong

as a few people said before, its just like throwing a misty, or in some cases bio. try throwing bio or a misty first regular then take it switch.

yea i was kidding about that part

but seriously they are exactly like a foward bio five. just switch. the kid who disagreed with me gave that list of instructions wich you could follow and it would work.. just your cork would be coming from carving not from actually throwing/setting it yourself.

work on regular switch 5s first. Then to go corked when you look behind your shoulder on the set, look up to the sky

whoa easy, no need to get all offended or anything. Telling a guy 'just throw it like a bio 5 but switch' is bad advice. First off you need to know how to do a bio 5 which barely anyone knows how to do, heck i cant even bio 5, i can bio 7 and 9 but i didnt know bio 5's were even possible. Next time instead of saying 'just throw it like a bio 5' try and go through some steps thats all. I sort of know what you mean though, it is kind of like throwing bio but i'd say it's just more like regular cork... debatable.

But I'll restate how you do a switch cork 5, cause i realized i was missing some things.

1. Get your switch spins going first, try and get up to switch 7 at least and be super comfy with them. You wanna get your comfort level on your switch spins up cause it'll feel a little weird when you come off the jump and your going corked.

2. Come in to the jump (dont forget staggered stance, will make things a lot easier!) a bit from the left and carve off the top right of the jump. (vice versa if your spinning left)

3. As you go off suck in your knees and go for a grab, when first learning I'd say double safety or truck, this'll get you nice and corked.

4. Hang on to it and commit. You will get it 100% of you commit, if you don't commit you will not get it. You just have to believe peter pan!

5. Stomp the shit out of it and don't forget to afterbang cause you just did a trick that 95% of kids on newschoolers cant do.

well i guess im a bitch then, you got me, I can't do switch corks or switch rodeos im just a big claimshow and try to give advice to kids cause I think it makes me look cool.

ill say it again when i cut your fuckin heart out, cover it in blood from your mothers twat and swallow half of it whole. my dog aka your mom will eat the other half
