today, in skiing like competitions and what poeple say, the terms "cab" "switch" "backwards" "tails facing forwards" "ass-first" all mean the same thing. sure u can argue all about snowboarding, and skateboarding that a "cab" is a switch 3 off the nose blah blah blah steve caballero. but is skiing skateboarding or snowbarding? no. thats y its diferent. switch 10, cab 10. same stuff. yeah....

if you think about it and compare it to snowboarding(like everyone likes to do) cab would be switch unnatural. Cab in snowboarding is switch frontside. It just makes sense.

some of the things you say are correct, but skiing haven't developed to a sport where everybody spins equally good to both directions yet, but its not long before it is like that. But untill that time comes, you will be judged better if you spin your unnatural way in a slopestyle run.. then it would be so much easier to just say that you did a sw 7 to cab 7 instead of saying that you did a switch left-side seven to switch right-side seven..
