Switch 10 always the banger

Why does everyone always use a switch 10 as the banger for every edit i see? why not use a creative and unique trick as a banger.

bottum line is already been dones as a banger = lame

TENEIGHTIES ARE COOLER BECAUSE 5'S ARE WAY EASIER TO DO ESPECIALLY OFF REALLY BIG JUMPS GOSH YOU GUYS THATS LIKE SAYING A 180 IS COOLER THAN A VONAGE PHONE SERVICE 9HUNDRED

have you ever done a switch 10? best feeling trick in the world, why not use it as a banger over a 540

because anyone can do a switch 540 only the 1337 kids can do switch 10's or even better switch cork 10's :)

I like sw 10's, if you can do it you know you are boss-ass, but if you can dubflip you are more boss-ass.

i dont find cab 10s all that enjoyable most of the time...i think cab 7s are more fun...but hey thats just me! cab 10s are definitely more difficult, chances are they are the most difficult trick that person can do so thats why its there banger, makes sense

completely agree, its like, a backflip is way easier then a 360, but 10 times more scary. in reality, a double backflip is the same rotation as a 720, you are rotating 720 degrees, jsut in a different form. and a "kangaroo" or double rodeo is just a 900 rotation, if you watch people throw rodeo 9s and throw kangaroos, its the same set, but instead of spinning at 3 you flip and then spin 180 at the end. but again, its 10 times scarier, but i think wayyyy easier then a rodeo 9 haha

could jsut be my opinion, but for some reason I am terrible at rodeo 9s, but kangaroos dont seem so bad to me, who knows, maybe im just...either way you slay both of them haha

I like to use the steezest/stylist shot as the last shot because its the last thing the audience sees. A lot of people choose to use cab 10s or other big tricks (guilty) and that also leaves a lasting impression on the audience too. Sometimes tech trick > stylie trick i suppose.

yeah but dub flips all you gotta is commmit, where as a off axis spin you gotta set it perfectly to make come around all good

if any of you have seen LEGACY, my favorite trick of all time is in there. A huge backcountry switch octograb 540

switch 10s aren't always the banger shot, im guessing you saw one, maybe two edits and decided to rant about it. i bet if i look at the top rated videos i could find the video that made you post this...

...plus, switch 10s are hard/impossible for most people including me

yea a regular switch 10 is also pretty fuckin hard for me aswell, i cant usually do them unless i do switch cork 10.. its weird but i find i can get way more spin when i switch cork

i think it depends, like for Bobby "all you gotta do is commit" for a dub flip, but he is indeed a freak of nature....:D

people have their tricks that they are good at, and other things that they are not so good at...so it really varies in each situation.

Switch 10s seem like they would be harder than a double flip...maybe that's just because flipping comes easier to me. I haven't done either a double nor a switch 10 so I'm just speculating based on the single flips and the switch spins I've done...

I think doubles should be the banger, but it seems like so many people do doubles nowadays that they're almost standard.

everyone has a good argument, i agree switch 10 is one of the hardest tricks out there. my arguement is that whenever i watch an edit i am always expecting a sw 10 to be the banger. it shouldnt be that way. shouldnt the banger be a surprise or something that you dont see in every other edit. our sport has progressed sooo far since the first switch 10 was thrown and skiers have extremely eclectic bags of tricks why not use a trick that will push the sport forward and leave ppl surprised and impressed by the banger instead of oh another switch 1080, so that is 1338 kids that can do em now.

word

well if they could throw down a trick like that then they would already be pro. on that note its good that barely any pro movies this year are going to make big deals out of sw 10s unless of course someone managed to do it in the BC.
