Sweetest birthday present ever!!

ok so tomorrow is my birthday...i got out of work today....late.....and got home and was just gonna chill on the couch and go online. then my dad calls and asks what im doing....he said "well i have your birthday part of you present but i dont know if it will last till tomorrow so you might have to use it tonight..." i was like o ok your crazy what is it? and he tells me he has 4 trash barrels of snow so we can set up the box in the backyard!!! we already had the box set up, i was using soap and water on a carpet before tonight. he found an icerink about 20-30 min from our house that was open and that doesnt melt thier snow! so while i put the snow up he set up the lights! i skied for about 3 1/2 hours! i was so excited!!! it was like the coolest gift my dad could give me!!! all my friends at home think im crazy...they dont understand the addiction to skiing...so i thought maybe the NS community would appreciate my lil story!
 
o thats a lil far....i have friends that live near out in BC...but they live in like squamish area....
 
thats sweet happy birthday sometimes for my birthday i get natural snow its in november but last year i got skis
 
i guess the past post being yesterday, makes today being your birthday --so a great happy NS BIRTHDAY WISH, have a super duper day. For sure thats a great idea, if only i had a yard big enough, damn city backyards
 
now every1 who has a birthday in winter should feel like an asshole lol. we get snow on birthday, and more than 4 trash cans. cool present in summer tho.

pretty typical EC fashion that it rains the next day and melts all the snow away completely though
 
yeah thats sick i have an ice rink like 10 mins from my house so we nab snow from there and backyard sesh all the time. i love it in the summertime

I'm the same. Sometimes if I'm lucky 49 degrees north will open in late November. My b-day is 22nd. What's yours?
 
Happy birthday (or am i late already, didnt check the date of the original post).

But anyway time to make you a little jealous because my b-day is november 28th and my parents condo in Finlands biggest resort opens that day so theres going to be hopefully a crazy party and i get to open my season in my birthday.
