Sweet running shoes?

I'm looking for a new pairof running shoes. I want them to look sick but need to be under 85$. I was going to get the Salomon Speedcross 2 but to expensive. k+ to helps.

just go to eastbay, running shoes, sort from highest to lowest, and scroll to 85 or lower. easier than us predicting what style of shoes you like haha. i would more likely go to real stores to try on the shoes first though, and look for some good sales.

Go to a running shoe store and have them measure your feet so you know exactly what to look for.

Go to a store that knows what it is talking about and can fit you in a good pair. If you have any type of foot problems they can tell by the way you walk and get you into the shoes you NEED.

or go to a minimal shoe/barefoot and learn good form and let your body adjust itself without damaging gimics...

This, if you're lucky they'll film you running on a treadmill and be able to tell you what kind of shoe you should be in to help prevent injury.

frees really arent minimal at all, i only wear mine still because i have to keep my mileage up for track and dont have time to transition to BFR while staying competitive.

Yes dear god please go actually get fit for a proper shoe. Do not just goto Dicks or somewhere and have them put you into NB. A good fitting running shoe makes a world of different for you because not all shoes are made the same way. As for me I have always liked Asics Gel and I just got myself a shiny new pair of top end Brooks to try out.

GO for a minimalist shoe. It'll give you better form and make your stride more efficient. I used to have crazy plantar fascitis in highschool and no orthotics or special shoes made a difference. I started running in some NB low profile trail shoes after my knee surgery, and I can throw down some serious mileage with absolutely no knee, shin or foot issues, something I never did in more cushioned shoes

Running shoes are just another form of athletic footwear like ski boots are. Should you get fitted for boots? Yes. Should you get fitted for running shoes? Yes.

Find a pair that fits you and suits your running style. Don't just into a minimalist shoe before you learn how to run on your mid-forefoot.

Just like a ski boot, find one that fits you right, fits your style, and for the love of god don't go on what you think the coolest is!

You also have to consider what type of running you are going to be doing, do you dont a comfort shoe? stable? frim? wide? skinny?

get a pair of adidas supernovas. insanely comfortable. im rocking new balance shoes right now, but i've always felt they're more casual. great if you're on your feet, but i dont like them for running. the supernovas (glide 2s, glide 3s) are the most comfortable shoe i've ever put on (and actually spent an entire day in). i used to work in the shoe department at different shops and as employees we'd wear shoes around all day just to see how they feel and model them a bit, and the asics nimbus and adidas supernovas are just unreal. trust me. go try a pair on.

dawg i ran cross country and track for three years, and still run as a hobby. go with asics, they make the best quality running shoes. it depends on your feet size which kind you get. I have wider feet and run on asics gel nimbus 2. if you have narrow feet get some asics 2130
