Alright for level 4 here are some more hints:

Yes, tin is the missing element. Now, i have given hints already through the thread. i'm not just gonna give you the answer. Now, there is a place somewhere in the vicinity of Shanghai that has some relationship with the fact that there is no tin. you just need to find the place and you'll know when you have it. Try wikipedia.

As for me, I'm stuck on five.
 
Stuck on 5 as well.

Here's what I have so far: the first to objects start with B. the pictures colors are also inverted. 3 starts with a b and is an occupation. having to do with something upside down or reversed?

i don't know. i'm stupid.
 
Man good job on level 4. It took me a while and I had help.

Ya i also agree with the b pattern. I'm thinking there's also something since the title is "Double Trouble" that the double letters in "broccoli" and "balloon" might have some significance. But i cannot figure it out
 
I got it.

Think about the letters and the numbers.

Really think about how they're spelled and then the letters.

 
haha i didn't think of that. I dunno i tried "bookie" that was the only occupation i could think of close to combining broccoli and balloon. but i think i'm done for tonight.

A focused attack tommorrow with all the brilliant people on NS and we should solve a couple more.
 
jmjtweak pretty much flat gave you the answer... he said their is a place near SHANGHAI with something to do with NO TIN and you might try WIKIPEDIA... their's a google search bar at the top don't you know ;)
 
if anyone has more on 5 i could do with a hand...

i've got that there's two o's in both and a double c and a double l but i'm struggling to connect it with 1,2 and 3

 
for 5 are there 3 sets of double letters in the answer?

i cant think of a job that has 3 though...

Ok so what do you know, No tin, somewhere near Shanghai, and its on Wikipedia, so just put all the key words into a google search.
 
level 5 is really tricky hard, i've spent 20 minutes looking through a list of jobs.
 
i got broccoli has 2 c's + o's . balloon has double l's and o's. occupation has 2 c's and 2 o's

then i'm stuck, it needs to begin withe b though.
 
5 is pretty tough, can anyone verify that its a job that starts with B, and has double c's o's and l's?
 
well, broccoli has 1 double letter, balloon has 2 double letters, an occupation that has 2 sets of double letters
