Sweet parents

so does anyone else ever just tell your parents that you aren't going to school today because you either a. didn't do some homework or a project b. have a test that you aren't ready for c. are too tried d. just don't feel like going e. other. And they just don't care, I love my parents because as long as i have a decent excuse they'll just call me in. Like now, I have a gay spanish project that isn't done, so I have an "appointment" during 1st hour so i can finish it up. I'm just wondering if anyone else has parents that let you stay home if you have a decent excuse.

nope : if that was the case i wouldnt be goin in for math test today! but we do have a shortened day cuz juniours are takin some tests so im goin to my friends to study now...

yeah my senior year my parents would write me a note for school so I could go skiing on fridays instead. As long as my grades were good and I didnt have any tests they let me skip to go skiing. I think I didnt go to a full friday of school for all of january and february.

my parents would always make sure i got my shit done and weouldnt do that for me unless it was something big. But they would let me skip any sunny/ powder day that the skiing was going to be good

never really got sick ever so when i just didnt feel like going to school i told them i was sick. but i never really abused it like you guys did. i did my projects but if i forgot to do them or didnt finish id take it

No, my parents cared too much about my education to accept some cheesy excuse. By refusing to bail me out, they forced me to take responsibility for my own schoolwork.

well, I love em but still.

I rarely miss classes or days of shool. hell, last week I got a migraine in class and waited 2 periods until my lunch to go to the nurse to sleep so I wouldn't miss anything important. my parents never let me miss a class or a day because of something stupid unless I'm legitimately sick.

yeah i have one of those parents who makes me go to class all the time. unless im pretty sick. as soon as i hit highschool we stopped taking vacations during school too.
