what if their was a comp like the orage masters except comapanies competed, and they would face off like salomon vs 4frnt or armada vs rossignol or line vs dynastar. man that would be sweet who do you think would win.

Armada would probably win, but the styliest stuff would be from LINE. Salomon has IannickB who will totally kill it on the rails.

salomon would do pretty damn well, as much as I don't like the company, think about it. Dumont, Iannick, Pete Olenick and CR. those are just a couple. they are stacked

4FRNT has a bunch of sick up-and-commers that would tear it up. But I think Armada would probably win..maybe 4FRNT or Line after that? Or K2..or Dynastar? Ahhhhhh

It be close. Heck look at pipe alone. CR, Dumont Candide for salomon, Dynastar has the Phils, Crichton and reed. Armada has tanner and Boyd, Sick stuff right their

slopstyle is a totally different story, no one has dominated it except for tanner in the xgames. 4frnt, line, and armada would be the top slopestyle companies.

it would have to be only ski companies, or only clothign companies. couldnt have like line vs. oakley. my vote for winning though would be probably 4frnt or dyanastar. aramada has good skiers but they are just getting older and all of these new kids are emerging, a lot through dynastar this year and next year id say 4frnt

would all of the riders for a company compete, like would pollard compete? if so, this is a very interesting proposition, and is a real good idea if done in the right spirit. It would be cool if it was a low-key jam format kind of event, as opposed to a super competitiave structured thing. If it was chill, it would be more like and all-star game instead of a championship, and that would probally keep the newschool scene from being damaged due to inter-company warfare. but mad props to whomever had the original idea for this.

it would be real close cuz no 1 team has a bunch of top skiers. tanner from armada, crichton from dynastar, olsson from head, dumont from salomon, spence from 4frnt, and pep from k2 would all do pretty well. but i think dynastar would come out on top overall just cuz they have tons of skiers that compete alot.

Could be sick, very true.

Let's take a look at what the teams would be in theory. I'm not claiming this is how it would be, just how I see it. Missing a few people out of a few teams, don't know enough about the scene over there in North America to comment on the young guys.

Salomon... Iannik B, CR, Candide, olenick, dumont? That's pretty substantial, Iannik slays on rails, so does olenick, CRs the big air man, candide in the pipe and dumont in the pipe and slopestyle. They have other riders too who could step it up.

Line... Wilson, Skogen, Pollard, Nick, Long? Decent team, wilson goes massive, pollard has so much style, so smooth. Skogen hasn't been in the park or pipe much recently but is a VERY good skier. Mike Nick and Dash Long could suprise a few peeps. Couple of the LINE UK riders could be brought accross to suprise you.

Dynastar... 3 phils, craighton (sp?). I'm not so sure on this team, craighton owns pipe with his big signature moves but hmm... maybe not as strong a team as I thought they would be? There are way more riders on their team, I'm just having a little blank. Fill me in.

Armada... Tanner, Boyd, JP, Anthony Boronowski, etc. Good crew, tanner may not be my favourite skier but he is undoubtably a very VERY talented rider and can take things to new levels, especially in comps, so consistent. Boyds got a killer attitude and could be very good in a relaxed comp atmosphere.

4FRNT... Steele and loads of up-and-comers... could be a suprise, I'm not so sure. Would be interesting.

K2... doesn't seem to have been much mention of them above. But with pep, seth, shane szocs, symms (does he ride for k2? or is it dynastar, or someone else?) would all be down to how they ride on the day and what's involved in the course. Pep is undoubtably one of the best park skiers ever.

What you guys reckon? Who's missing?

k lets say one company can only place 5 competators, because some companies have a buttload people and some only have like 6 or 7. so like 4frnt would have matt, steele, eric, luke, and griff.

Now I didn't spend the time to read the entire thread so if this was posted already, sorry ....but screw the riders....

If you're going to have the companies compete against each other....base the outcome on durability of the ski.

Take 20 really good riders (some pro/some non pro) and have all the ski companies at the bottom of the hill, set up with all their skis. Each rider goes out on each ski and really pushes it. Take them through all the features of the park, all mountain, and back country terrain. Then at the end of the competition rank each ski on its durrability.

This would probably be a 3-5 day event in order to allow all the riders to ski everything on the mountain.

That, would be a sweet compestition!! And I bet it would begin to push the companies to create a more durable skis.

i am talking a bout a team event and you team is people from you company, so a company sets its best five, competators huck as big as they can to get the title for their company, it would drive skiers to go bigger than they do at the x-games.

what if they had a comp where they gave the skiers guns and they all killed each other so then other people could be sponsered

i think itd be between dynastar and armada. saloman is a contender to. salomon has gagnier who is the by far the best rail skier and prolly one of the best at jumps. he can do all 4 different variations of 10s
