Sweet Camping Spots Around Tahoe

Hey Tahoe friends! Camping season is here, so I wanted to make a thread for good ideas on places to camp in the area. Obviously we can go hike into the woods and pitch a tent anywhere, but it would be cool to share your favorite sick spots. Lately I've just been car-camping, driving to remote places where a bunch of friends can join... Tried to go out to Burnside Lake recently but the gate is closed so we ended up driving out to Buckeye hot springs, which was awesome. Also plan on camping out at the patch to ski whenever the road clears up enough! Anyway, I'd love to hear some new places to check out :)
 
just got back from camping this weekend! drove up blue lakes road but the top is still closed so we just pulled over halfway up and hiked into the woods a little bit, had the stream to fish right next to us and were away from everyone to shoot my buddies shotgun, lots of fun! but a very hungover weekend

lots of spots around the patch i wanna go check out, let us know how anywhere is
 
The patch is a spot where the snow keeps pretty well through the beginning of summer. On the way to Kirkwood from south lake, you take a left up a dirt road off 88 right before red lake, and drive 6 miles up (need a 4x4 vehicle with clearance). There's actually gonna be a patch party this weekend where people set a bunch of jibs up there and camp out, it was pretty fun last year
 
went camping up at the patch tuesday wednesday just to get away and cause its fun driving my subaru up there haha, had tons of fun went fishing the whole time and missed the storm perfectly, wish i could do more camping trips like it, fuck work!
