Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street

i didnt really care for it too much... which is too bad what with the cast and director and all... the music wasnt that fantastic, and pretty much the only thing that was interesting was the stylized visuals. i did like that people bled raspberry jam out of their necks.

such a sick movie. not just cause of gore but i thought it was amazingly done, specially if youve seen the broadway show

How was the actual Broadway? It felt like one because it kept to the same scenery was the same through out.

At first I thought it would suck cause it has Johnny Depp and Tim Burton doesn't impress me but I watched the trailor and it looks sick.

Plus it has that girl who played Marla Singer in Fight Club who I thought was amazing.

And the whole style of filming looks sick.

Except its R and I hate having to see R movies in theaters cause its a big hassle

I saw it with a bunch of my friends, and they were in denial the whole time. Every other scene I got a "yo, this is a musical..could it be gayer?" I wanted to like it but I just thought that it wasn't even that creative..the ending was a little lacking too I thought as I didn't even explain what happened with Anthony and Johanna. The "twist" was pretty retarded too..

thought it was sweet how it started out being a somewhat upbeat musical, and it even stayed like that till the very end. and people were constantly dying and it was very gory.  it was like happy, but disturbing at the same time which i think made it really interesting.  and its way original cause its the only horror movie/musical ive seen.
